Sep 12, 2012· By 1960 the model "45" was the light vertical they advertised. It was "styled" and had a fairly unique square ram. The "55" became the "super 55" and was unstyled, sharing the trunk and knee of the #60 horizontal. I think the #4 digit in all the more modern vertical 645, 747 etc derive from #40 being the origional vertical they made.
